The main functions of the aerator in the aeration tank are: (1) Aeration, which transports the oxygen in the air to the mixed solution to meet the needs of microbial respiration in the activated sludge (2) Stirring and mixing. The mixed liquid in the aeration tank is in a vigorously mixed state, so that the activated sludge, dissolved oxygen and organic matter in the sewage are fully contacted, and at the same time, the sludge is prevented from settling

Aeration is usually the most expensive part of biochemical wastewater treatment operations, and aerators are also being upgraded. Today we will talk about the advantages and disadvantages of the microporous aerator.

The microporous aerator has the advantages of high performance, reliable performance, not easy to block the pores, no return of sewage, uniform circumferential force, long service life, convenient installation and maintenance, and low system price. The rubber membrane adopts EPDM rubber, which has the characteristics of heat resistance, ozone resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and good chemical stability. Compared with ordinary rubber membrane, the installation diagram can greatly improve its service life. The aeration hole is a straight long hole with good expansion and instantaneous sealing. During the aeration process, microbubbles with a diameter of less than 3mm can be released, and the oxygen utilization rate is as high as 35-42%. The support tube is made of ABS or PVC. The air pipe is made of engineering plastic ABS and filled with water in the hollow, which greatly reduces the buoyancy of the aeration system in the water.

By injecting oxygen into the sewage, the pollution degree of sewage or industrial wastewater can be alleviated to a certain extent, and the discharge standard can be met, thereby reducing the repeated pollution of water resources and achieving the effect of environmental protection. Moreover, the aerator is simple and easy to operate, and the equipment itself will not cause any pollution to the environment. In addition, according to different environments and sewage treatment objects, different types of aerators appear on the market to meet the sewage treatment needs of different industries and objects, and are suitable for environmental treatment and various industries that require sewage treatment.
