CIPP Repair Technology

The hose lining method, also known as the original curing method (CIPP), is to line the inner wall of the existing old pipe with a soft lining impregnated with a liquid thermosetting resin, which is heated (using hot water, hot steam or ultraviolet light, etc.) or It is cured at room temperature to form a thin-layer tube that fits closely with the old pipe. There is almost no loss in the cross-section of the pipe, but its flow performance is greatly improved. There are two construction methods of the soft lining method, the reverse impregnated resin hose lining method and the CIPP pull-in resin lining method.

1) Flip impregnated resin hose lining method

This technology uses a fiber-reinforced hose or braided hose with impermeable membrane soaked in thermosetting resin as the lining material. One end of the hose soaked in resin is turned over and fixed at the entrance of the pipeline to be repaired with a clamp, and then water pressure or The air pressure causes the resin-soaked inner layer of the soft liner to flip out and bond to the inner wall of the old pipe. When the soft lining pipe reaches the end point, immediately inject hot water or steam into the pipe to solidify the resin, forming a hard lining with anti-corrosion and anti-seepage functions that is close to the inner wall of the old pipe. The flexibility and internal pressure of the resin tube before curing allows it to fill cracks, span gaps, and go around bends. After the resin has cured, the soft liner forms a new tube with the same shape as the original tube and a slightly smaller inside diameter.

2) CIPP pull-in resin lining method

The CIPP pull-in resin lining method is to use a non-woven flat hose with an anti-seepage film. After being fully impregnated with resin, it is pulled into the pipeline to be repaired from the inspection well, and the hose is rounded by water pressure or air pressure and cured. Finally, a firm and smooth new tube is formed to achieve the purpose of repair. Judging from the restoration of old pipes in foreign countries, due to the strong adaptability and reliable quality of this technology, it is possible to use inspection wells to operate without moving the soil. Wide range of applications.

The loss of the flow section of the pipeline repaired by the hose lining method is basically negligible, but its flow performance is greatly improved. This type of repair technology can repair underground pipes of various materials such as cast iron pipes, steel pipes and concrete. It can be used not only for the repair of water supply, sewage and gas pipes, but also for the repair of industrial pipelines such as chemical industry. It is especially suitable for traffic congestion in cities. Concentrated or heavily occupied ground facilities, pipelines that cannot be repaired and renewed by conventional ground excavation methods. This repair technology has the advantages of all-weather construction, no joints and good fluidity, and can adapt to non-circular sections and curved pipe sections. It is applicable to the repair of various pipelines with a pipe diameter ranging from 50 to 2000 mm; The requirements are high, the cost is high, the resin curing time is long (generally more than 5h), and each section of construction braided pipe needs to be customized separately.
