The selection of aeration equipment first considers the requirements of the treatment process. According to the requirements of different treatment processes, different microporous aerator equipment is selected. Today, pinhong environmental protection introduces several materials for aeration diaphragms, commonly used silica gel diaphragms , EPDM diaphragm and TPU polyurethane diaphragm,

1. TPU polyurethane aeration tube

Polyurethane TPU aeration membrane has excellent wear resistance, excellent ozone resistance, high hardness, high strength, good elasticity, low temperature resistance, good oil resistance, chemical resistance and environmental resistance. Compared with EPDM, TPU aeration membrane has better elasticity, wear resistance and resilience than EPDM, and has a long service life, which can be used for 5-8 years. It can be used for domestic sewage and industrial sewage treatment. The TPU aeration tube has good resilience performance, and it will not be difficult to rebound after the holes are enlarged like EPDM and silicone diaphragms after long-term use.

2. Silicone aeration diaphragm

Silicone membranes can withstand high temperatures, usually 200-250°C, while TPU aeration membranes have poor heat resistance, generally 80-120°C. TPU has good chemical resistance and can resist the corrosion of chemical substances such as acid and alkali, while the chemical stability of silica gel is poor. Which material to choose depends on the specific water quality and needs to choose the appropriate material.

3. EPDM aeration membrane

EPDM is a commonly used synthetic rubber material. Compared with TPU, its service life is short, between 2-4 years. Currently, it is widely used and the price is economical. It is mostly used for domestic sewage and enterprise sewage.
