Features of microporous aeration pipe

The tubular membrane microporous aeration pipe has different characteristics from other aeration products. It is made of a pipe made of ABS or UPVC as the air distribution pipe. A diaphragm made of rubber, which is fixed on the pipe by a metal clip. Use laser and other methods to make evenly distributed holes on the synthetic rubber diaphragm.

During aeration, air enters between the diaphragm and the pipe wall through the vent holes on the pipe wall. Under the action of the compressed air, the diaphragm slightly bulges and the perforations are opened to achieve the purpose of air distribution and diffusion.

After the air supply is stopped and the air pressure disappears, the diaphragm itself automatically closes the holes under the action of elasticity. Due to the action of water pressure, the diaphragm is compacted on the pipe wall. Therefore, sewage does not flow back and block the holes. However, since the diameter of the opening of this membrane directly affects the utilization rate of oxygen, the diameter of the opening should be appropriate.

If the opening diameter is too large, the oxygen utilization rate is low, and the opening diameter is too small, the oxygen utilization rate is high, but the resistance increases. The rubber diaphragm should be made of anti-aging, high-strength rubber to avoid tearing of the diaphragm and damage to the aerator.
